Remote Busy Lamps

Purpose

The Remote Busy Lamps form allows you to program remote appearances of a local device. The form lists the device's local appearances as programmed in the Multiline Set Keys form and allows you to enter remote directory numbers of devices that will host a busy lamp appearance of the local device.

Monitored Device

The directory number of the local single-line set or Broadcast Group that is being monitored on a remote device. Entering a remote directory number in this field will display all local busy lamps programmed against the remote device or group.

Local Host Set Directory Number - n

The directory number(s) of devices that have appearances of the monitored device.

 

Name

System-generated, protected field. Provides the name assigned to the directory number in the Telephone Directory form.

 

Remote Lamp

System-generated, protected field. An index number used internally to identify instances of the monitored DN.

 

Remote Host Set Directory Number

The remote directory number of the devices that will host busy lamps for monitoring the local device or group. Local and remote busy lamp appearances of the monitored device must total no more than 64.
